Online Traffic Safety School (TSS):

You may be taking this Traffic Safety course for several reasons.

  • You are taking this course voluntarily to receive up to a 3-point credit on your Nevada Driver's License record. The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles allows you to take this course for up to a 3-point credit once in every twelve (12) month period.
  • You may need to take it to satisfy a court order. It is your responsibility to determine if your court accepts online traffic safety schools.
  • Students who satisfactorily complete this course may now also get insurance premium reductions. Individuals should contact their insurance companies to find out whether or not they offer this discount for their drivers.
  • Your employer requires you to attend a Traffic Safety School.

Instructions For Taking The Online Course:

  1. To begin, return to our home page and click the link or button that says, "Sign Up".
  2. Select your course. - or
  3. Fill out the Registration form.
  4. Review the information and click the register button.
  5. The list of sessions will appear. Click on the "start course" button to begin learning!
  6. After completing each session of the program, you will take a short quiz. After passing each quiz, you will continue on to the next chapter.
  7. You will take a final examination in-person at one of our test areas. Upon passing the final examination and making payment, you will immediately receive your Certificate of Completion.
  8. When you receive your Certificate, you will be asked to complete an evaluation of the training provided through this Internet course. Please take the time to fill out this form. It is required by the DMV and your comments are very valuable to us.

Please note that you can exit and re-enter the program at your own convenience. Our student progress monitoring feature allows you to pick up exactly where you left off.

Final Exam:

Once you have read all of the sessions and completed the chapter review questions you will be permitted to take the final exam.

  • To receive credit for the course and to receive your Certificate of Completion you must take the final exam in-person at one of our test areas. The Testing link is in our menu section.
  • Once you arrive at the test area inform a member of our school personnel that you are there to take the Internet course final exam.
  • You MUST bring a form of picture identification with you (driver license, DMV ID card, valid passport or military ID) to the test area. NO PICTURE IDENTIFICATION - NO CERTIFICATE.
  • You should also bring with you the DMV or court instruction paper.
  • Our school employee will check your identification, verify that you have completed the course online, and distribute to you the materials to take the final exam.
  • The exam should take approximately 15 to 30 minutes.
  • The final exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions.
  • Open book testing is not permitted.
  • You must answer at least 35 questions correctly (70%) to pass the course.
  • Your answers will be graded and you will be informed immediately of your test results.
  • Per Nevada Administrative Code 483.787 - if you fail to pass the final examination, you must wait at least 4 hours before you may retake the examination.
  • You may review the course online for free until you pass.

Other Important Information:

  • Cash or credit/debit will be accepted. No personal checks please.
  • You are required to bring picture identification to the test area with you. You are also required to bring your court or DMV notice. NO picture identification - NO cetificate.
  • If you do not know your driver's license number, we cannot send your completion information to the DMV.
  • If your schedule does not allow you to complete the final exam at a designated test area, do not take this online program.
  • Test Areas may be updated throughout this online program. Please check hours available for testing - an appointment may sometimes be necessary. For more information, please see the "Test Areas" link in our menu section.
  • Down time can be related to your computer or your Internet connection. In this case, you must contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) directly.
  • Students having difficulties having problems that occur online may call for technical help at the help desk at . Leave a message including your name, phone number, time, date & question. A school representative will return your call as soon as possible.
