- You are taking this course voluntarily to receive up to a 3-point credit on your Nevada Driver's License record. The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles allows you to take this course for up to a 3-point credit once in every twelve (12) month period.
- You may need to take it to satisfy a court order.
- Students who satisfactorily complete this course may now also get insurance premium reductions. Individuals should contact their insurance companies to find out whether or not they offer this discount for their customers.
- Your employer requires you to attend a Traffic Safety School.
The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles has reviewed and Licensed this online course. If you are taking this course voluntarily for point reduction or the court requires you to take a traffic safety course, you are eligible based on the following qualifications:
- You have a Nevada Driver's License.
- You have less than 12 points accumulated on your driving record. If you have more than 12 points on your driving record, you may not take this course for point reduction.
- You do not have any traffic violations pending when you register for this course.
- The court will not be reducing points or dismissing your ticket upon completion of our Traffic Safety course.
At registration, you should select the 5-Hour course if you have received 2 tickets or less within a 12 month period on your driving record. You should select the 8-Hour course if you have received 3 tickets or more within a 12 month period on your driving record. The 8-Hour course is referred to as the Repeat Offenders course.
You can complete the course at your own pace logging on and off as many times as necessary to complete the course. However, keep in mind, the DMV or court has probably given you a deadline or due date by which you need to complete the course.
You will receive your Certificate of Completion immediately after you have passed your Final Exam, which you must take in-person at one our posted Test Areas. The "Testing" link is in our menu section. You will be permitted to take the final exam after we have checked your identification and verified that you have completed the Sessions online.
If you are taking this course for demerit points removal - we are required to report course completion by submission of form DS-305 to the Nevada DMV within 30 days - - once you have successfully completed the course by passing the final exam at one of our Test Areas.

2. Select your course.
3. Fill out the registration form.
4. Review the information and click on the "register" button.
5. The list of sessions will appear. Click on the "start course" button to begin learning!
No; you can log-in, re-enter, and take the course using any computer or device with any type of Internet connection.
You can either go to our home page and click the 'Log In' button (under "Returning Student?") or you can click the 'Log In (Returning?)' link in our menu section. Then you will just enter your First Name, Last Name, and Birthday and click the "Login" button to resume the course. Don't worry, our student progress monitoring feature will allow to pick up exactly where you left off.
Per Nevada Administrative Code 483.787 - if you fail to pass the final examination, you must wait at least 4 hours before you may retake the examination. You may review and retake the course online for FREE until you pass.
We are required by the DMV to keep and maintain student records for 3 years. Records include information on you, the student (including Driver's License information), final test; student�s evaluation of the course and school; and a copy of the completion certificate. Be assured that we protect your private information. We limit access to personal information to our employees who need to know that information in order to perform their administrative duties and/or to operate, develop or improve our services.
